Candle Care and Burning Tips
The first burn is always the most important. When lighting your soy candle for the first time make sure you allow the wax pool to melt all the way to the sides of the container. Our candles typically take about 2.5-3.5 hours to reach a full melt pool. Failure to allow the candle to fully pool to the sides of the container will often cause "tunneling" and limit the life of your new candle. It is important to keep in mind that you should always allow the entire top layer of your candle to pool each time you burn your candle.
Keep your wick trimmed to 1/4 of an inch at all times and keep the wax pool free of wax trimmings, matches or any other combustible materials. This will ensure a long lasting candle.
Optimal burn time is 4 hours. If you are someone who likes to burn your candles for longer, it is important to extinguish the the candle every 4 hours and trim the wick to 1/4 inch.
Do not use lid to extinguish your candle.
Always store your candles in a cool, dark and dry place.
Burn responsibly. Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface, never on or near anything that can catch fire and keep it out of drafty areas. NEVER LEAVE CANDLE UNATTENDED WHEN LIT. Allow the candle to cool completely before handling. Keep out of reach of children and/or pets.
